Kenya has a deep commitment to British-style education and Peponi House is the largest prep school in the country. With around 600 pupils from 18 months to Year 8, it's larger than most prep schools in the UK, but it still feels small and friendly. The ethos is strongly family-oriented, with bubbly children and staff who have their enthusiasm encouraged.

It's a can-do school in a can-do country, and the school is leading mental health awareness in schools across Africa and beyond, to the point where it is in the global shortlist for a TES International award.

The role of Deputy Head - Pastoral covers everything you'd expect it to, and we're looking for someone who is truly passionate about individual care and wellbeing, and who can bring solid experience in prep school senior leadership.

Kenya's a terrific country with a great climate and great people, and a teacher's lifestyle at Peponi House is very much better than in many other parts of the world.
